Slow Fading

Abstract

In general deflection off of objects in the environment of any kind will cause loss, specifically in amplification, especially weather as things such as rain, clouds and snow all affect EM wave propagation differently.

Where $h(v)$ is the transfer function for the environment

In general:

$$f_r(t)={\mathcal{F}}^{-1}(\mathcal{F}(f(t))\ast h(v))+AWGN$$

Where $f_r(t)$ is the received signal
