Amplitude Modulated Signal (AM)

Fundamentally a AM wave is just a sin wave that has a similar function to Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK)

Formula:

$$y(t)=[DC+m\sin (2\pi f_{m}t)]Asin(2_{\pi }{f}_{c}t)$$

Where $DC$ is the DC offset, $f_m$ is the frequency of the modulated signal, $f_c$ is the frequency of the carrier wave, $m$ is the amplitude of the modulated wave, $A$ is the amplitude of the carrier wave
