Abstract:

An Operational Amplifier, is a form of DC-Coupled High Gain Voltage Amplifier

Op-Amps are the key to modern analog design, and were originally designed to perform basic mathematical operations in “analog” computers, such as:

• Addition
• Subtraction
• Integration
• Differentiation

Input Impedance is immensely large, and therefore approximated to be $\infty$ Gain is immensely large, and there and therefore approximated to be $\infty$

This has a current output, with a voltage input.

This is also a typical model for a field effect transistor amplifier
